                     Meena is a fictional character who symbolizes the stars in the South Asian children's television series Meena.The program has been aired in Bengali, English, Hindi, Nepali and Urdu. Meena has educated South Asian children on issues of gender, health and social inequality through her stories in comic books, animated films Meena cartoons and radio series. Secondary characters in his stories include his brother Raju and his pet parrot Mithu. Her thrilling stories include trying to get an education, an equal portion of food with Raju and learning about the human immunodeficiency virus, the right way to give birth to a child and helping people. All of his stories advocate a change in social and cultural practices.Mina's popularity is not just close to one country or culture of South Asia but united by the common characteristics of all of them. Meena's character was created by the famous Bangladeshi cartoonist Mustafa Monwar and was partly the hand of UNICEF. The UNICEF organization wanted to raise educational awareness of South Asia through Meena and her stories.
